The World Book Day website is a mine of information for YA readers. There is a separate page for YA readers with information on its YA App, featured books and resources. Under the events and competitions pages you can find YA specific opportunities.
One of the latest resources is The Word Herd Toolkit which is a new scheme encouraging 11 to 14 year olds to talk about books. There are plenty of ideas as to how to encourage teenagers to discuss books they have read and enjoyed. Teenagers are encouraged to send their reviews to the website.
