Adult books suitable for teens


There comes a point when you feel you have grown out of the teen book market and you start picking up your parents’ books. Here is a list of books that were written for the adult market but are suitable in content and style for teenagers. I will add others along the way but hopefully there will be something on this list that you will find of interest.

Also – check out the Alex Awards which is given to ten books written for adults that have special appeal to young adults, ages 12 through 18. It is an official ALA Award.
